Galaxy S7 How Can I Disable the Try Again in 30 Minuts Bullshit

   I managed to turn the voice assistant on and now, no matter what, cannot turn it off once again.
   It has taken over my telephone and I have spent at least two hours attempting to switch it off.
   For fear of throwing the phone through a window I have put information technology down and gone to do some gardening!!!!
   How in gods proper noun can it be so difficult to plow an option off.

   The phone tells me to unlock the screen past swiping with two fingers to unlock screen.. This I have done.
   I open up the quick settings simply can discover no style to disable vox banana.
   A window appears representing Vocalisation assistant.
   I tap on this twice and a vocalization says something along the lines of " Notification shade"
   anything I impact sends me to a blank page with:

   Enter password instead of using fingerprint recognition afterwards restarting device to protect fingerprints.

   After trying dozens of time to enter the password, I found that a password can be entered by tapping a letter or number and hitting the keyboard to the rhs of the entry box twice!!!

   I've had smartphones since they came out, albeit, iPhones and take never encountered such a ridiculous effect!!!!!
   I thought I'd purchased a smart telephone, not an enigma car!

   I love the S7 Border, just actually, this is ridiculous.

   hi! I have tapped each button equally you said - almost all nighttime long It doesn't piece of work - it remains blocked on a letter of the alphabet... I tap letter a, and then tap letter b = all the same it shows letter a, instead of b... when try to delete it with backspace, it shows letters instead... as when the keyboard doesn't work properly anymore... I volition go to a Samsung service and I will come back to you with their solution... damn it! Thank you - and I'll come back before long (hope with improve news)

    Samsung service centre solved this matter inside less than ane min!
    The front desk girl didn't know what to do, suggested reinstall software - but after I take told her how to double tap each letter of my password - she went backdoor and said that to a specialist... in less than 30 sec she brought my telephone back.

    I volition fix this for all of y'all. My trouble was I was accidentally turning Voice Assistant on because my Otterbox for my GS8+ made the ability button difficult to depress and I was accidentally pressing the upwards volume push at the aforementioned fourth dimension when applying counter strength. I solved information technology by going to Settings/Accessibility/Direct access and so in that screen toggling off Voice Assitant. This disabled the stupid feature that turns it on when holding the ability and upwardly book buttons at the same time. At least it works for now. The style settings seem to change dorsum on their own with this phone who knows if it will stick. Only FYI you tin turn Vocalisation Banana dorsum off past also holding the power and up volume buttons at the aforementioned time.

    I just regretted my phone. I had this same exact problem and I restarted the phone as well. So, at the 2nd time I restarted the phone, I held the Bixby button, upper volume control and power push button so I tin reset my phone as a brand new phone. It has avoided this outcome and I didn't lose anything on my phone every bit well.

It seemed like Voice Assistant was turning on randomly all the fourth dimension, but I realized that it was always when I touched the side buttons; turns out in that location was a shortcut on my telephone such that by pressing the Ability and Volume Upward side buttons at the same time, information technology would activate Vocalisation Assistant.
    To plow off: Go to "Settings --> Accessibility--> Direct Admission" and then switch the "Phonation Assistant" toggle to off, it shouldn't happen again!

    had this trouble. tried all the two presses 3 presses options offered. but even if i got through all that. comouter said wrong password.
    so i succeeded with the side tap option described above. tap your password alphabetic character, then tap the surface area beside the edit box twice. i was thus able to command what was input - a complicated password with double letters - and satisfy the voice assistants 3 tap requirement. thank you and so much for that solution.

    I recently discovered the Easy solution to this trouble. I poster above noted this but most people seem to be ignoring information technology. Samsung, or Android?, has created a quick toggle option of the Vocalism Banana that is easy to accidentally plow on if carrying the phone in a pocket. The toggle is to press the Ability push on the right side of the phone, and the Up Volume push button on the left side of the telephone simultaneously!!! Pressing these buttons at the same fourth dimension volition plough the Vocalism Banana on, and off. No need to get thru all the double tap and ii-finger drag thru carte du jour options. It doesn't seem that Samsung fifty-fifty knows this is an choice though equally no reference is fabricated to this shortcut in any documentation or on the Samsung website regarding this outcome.     Ok, i have just found another style of turning the nightmare choice off. This is in relation to a S9. This is what I did. Press the power push button to see the notifications locked merely on your screen. I of my notifications was maxim Voice Assistant turned 'on' tap to turn 'off'. Double tap this. Y'all will then need to unlock your phone assuming its locked. I had fingerprint unlocking enabled. Once unlocked potentially via the very painful methods described in these posts, you are and then presented with the pick to plow off Voice Assistant every bit your default unlocked screen. Read the instructions shown below the Voice Assistant Off button. They basically said hold the button to highlight the Voice Banana then double tap to turn off.     The video posted by chincilla shows exactly what you need to do. You need to use the three tap logon method that several accept mentioned AND y'all demand to use a TWO finger swipe (drag) to move around the screens (I was using the single finger swipe and getting nowhere). Go to Settings, and then, depending on your phone, you lot select Accessibility or Direct Access or Vision to go to Vocalism Assistant. Mine showed it was off, then I turned information technology on and then back off again, and the nightmare was over. I got my phone back.
